Summer is approaching. Last year was challenging for gardeners and for the wildlife that relies on our gardens.

All insects are important for the eco system – bees, butterflies, moths, beetles, even insects we may instinctively dislike such as houseflies and mosquitoes as they may be pollinators and / or food for birds and other creatures.




I found this article useful in helping me think through how I could support insects through a hot, dry summer.
