A Harrogate company has agreed to support a North Yorkshire couple as they plant their 60,000th tree since 2010. Christopher and Helen Neave formed 'Make it Wild' to improve the natural environment around Harrogate and York.
Since then, as well as planting trees, the couple have dug ponds, planted wild flower meadows and placed bird and bat boxes. They have now been partnered by SMR Architects in Harrogate who are collaborating with Make it Wild to improve biodiversity in the area even more.
This is a great example of people 'doing what they can' - Hummingbirds helped by an elephant!?
